Melinda's Story
I have been married for 22 1/2 yrs. We live in Cerritos, CA. My husband is a deputy with the LA County Sheriff's Dept. I have one son who just graduated from Valley Christian High School, and is on his way to UCLA to study Biochemistry, Pre Med with goals to be an oncologist. I have one daughter going into 9th grade at Valley Christian High School, She is on the JV Cheer Squad. I am one of those crazy moms who follow all sports taking pictures of the teams. tball team, and the golf team. Now I get to sit on the sidelines taking pictures of the cheerleaders at the football and basketball games, until spring when my daughter will be on the track team. She keeps reminding me the cheerleading is "a sport". She happens to be the flier that the other girls throw into the air, and I keep praying that they will always catch her! The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful husband and 2 great kids. 30 years ago when I graduated, I never thought that I would have been so blessed. I guess that is all for now.
