Mindy's Story
Life
Life has been really good to me. I married shortly out of high school and never completed college, but I have four wonderful grown children, a beautiful granddaughter and had a good job with IBM for 29 years. I lived in Lexington, KY for 5 years and since 1980 in Charlotte, NC. I was divorced in 1991 but remarried in 2004 and was widowed in 2012. Workplace
I worked at IBM Charlotte for the 29 years, and my last job was as the manager of about 40 database administrators across the US. I started as a secretary, then became a programmer, DBA, business manager and finally a people manager.
Retired life is great. I volunteer two days a week and also spend a lot of time at the theater. Charlotte is a great place for live theater and music.
