Melinda's Story
Hello to whomever out there from Ursuline that may read this. Where are you, call or email me when you get a chance so we can either meet or talk to catch up on what you've heard...what you know about our friends and classmates.
Currently, I'm now living in San Antonio after having relocated from San Francisco, CA. My husband has taken "way too early retirement" from United Airlines that we opted to return home because he has property here to oversee; he had been doing this via long distance. So, long story shorter, we moved here...and my Mom also moved here with us. She, too, was in the Bay area and wanted to return home.
I'm not one to stay home as yet that I've decided I need to get back to work -- either full time or part time; my background has been Human Resources that I'm looking for either recruitment or general admin support. But, I'm always open for what...Expand for more
ever other avenues may present themselves.
Since I remarried for a second time, we only had time for one son since my biological clock was ticking. Nicolas, who was born in San Francisco, so that's really all he knows and is familiar with. It was quite difficult to leave him there (when we moved) since he's still in school attending San Francisco State University. He's a Senior this year. We gave him the option to stay and finish school there with his friends or he could also make the move with us. Once he's done with school, we'll have to see where he lands. I believe he'll first get a job and then consider grad school. His major is environmental but his real love is music. He figures his day environmental job will allow him to pursue music, his passion.
