Melinda's Story
I currently work for the Shelby County Board of Education as a substitute teacher. Last year I work the last nine weeks of the school year as the ISD teacher (in School Detention) unfortunately I didn't get that job this year since I don't have an Associates degree. I enjoy what I do and if I need to be off it's no big deal. It was really nice to be able to spend time with my son in August when he came home for mid-tour leave from Afghanistan.
This is my hubby¿s second year at the new job. It has been really good for him¿. a GE Field Engineer was to stressful and it caused some health problems which have cleared up since the job change. The only difficulty is the 50 minute drive each way and the housing market sucks for selling our home so we can move closer.
I always wanted to be a wife & mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a to young idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
A hot Starbucks Vanilla Latte along with a Madelines (cake like cookie) or a glass of wine along with venting to my husband.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have note book, learning games, and rewards to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My son for his courage, strength and sense of humor that is needed to be in some of the difficult situations, for giving his life for his family, friends and fellow Americans. Freedom is not free, it must be protected.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Barbra Choser, because she was one of my closest friends.

Sci-Fi and of course the occasional chick flicks.
That they are their own person with distinct likes, dislikes and learning styles from the moment of birth.
If I won $100 million, I'd give my charities 10% of it to help others, then spend the rest on bills, family and 2nd honeymoon since our first didn't go so well.
I wouldlove to be an early elementry teaching but i can't pass the math that is required. Math and I have never worked well together!
My best friend would tell you I'm loving, compassionate and silly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as how am i suppose to know what they think and it doesn't matter.
Of course not I would look silly! I try to look nice but it's hard when you have extra weight.
I share my home with husband, two dogs and a cat, which I find to be a joy but sometimes i wish the animals could feed theirselves and let themselves out.
Track day at Nashville Super Speedway I actually got my car up to 105mph.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by watching my carbohydrates and exercise more since we now know what's wrong with me..
Barbra and I met in school since we are both nutty we just hit it off.
My first job was at daycare, where I got paid 4.25 to 5.10. What I remember most about it is not organized and poor manaagement.
While staying at at foster home, the kid next door would chase me (he was mean). One day he caught me,shut me in their dark yucky celler and told me the devil was going to get me. I have know idea how long I was their until his father got me out.
