Life After graduating from North Bullitt, I went to college at the University of Louisville where I was a cheerleader and majored in Communications with a minor in Theater. We won the National Cheerleading Championship two years in a row and got to go to Tokyo, Japan. This was my first trip out of the Country. I quit cheerleading my Junior year of college and started working at WAVE 3 News in Louisville. I thought I wanted to become a Reporter. After working there for almost two years I learned that dealing in the News everyday was depressing. I graduated from U of L and left for California the next week. I had never been there but thought I would give acting a shot. I spent my first month in California freaking out about how expensive everything was and totally depressed that I had no friends or family here. I taught cheerleading camps for a few months and then got a job at NBC as a page while getting a Masters at a two year acting institute. I did some student films and every part-time job available. I then became a personal assistant for James Cameron while he was directing "Titanic". He told me to learn everyone's job and not just be an actress waiting to be hired. Aft...Expand for more
