Melissa's Story
Life
After high school, I started working at a retail store down town in San Antonio Texas. I was there for two years. My very first job. In 1996 I moved in with my boyfriend to Bryan/College Station Texas while he was working on his masters. There I worked at Montgomery Wards in the jewerly department. I was there for two years. In 1998 we moved to Charleston South Carolina where my husband got his first job out of college. He worked for Bettis. Commission in August of 2002. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and we had our first baby on October 19,2002. Her name is Madison Michelle Dixon. A year later my husband transferd with the same company and moved us to London Arkansas. Where we were for two years. I am a stay at home mom and I am very lucky I have that chance to be with her. Now we have just moved to Lake Jackson Texas in May of 2006 where my husband got a promotion to work at South Texas Project Nuclear Power plant. He is now a senior resident inspector. I am still a stay at home mom and enjoy being with my daughter. That is it for now.
