Melissa's Story
Life
Well my life is a little different than I expected it to be when I was younger. I got married right out of high school and had my first child only ten months after getting married. Becoming a parent so early in life is the biggest part of my life that I never would have dreamed when I was younger. I have been married now for 16 years and I am now the proud parent of two girls. Things have been going pretty well latley, and I am curently planning a vow renewal ceremony to take place on Maui-so much fun!!!

I had a couple of crushes in high school, none that I would really like to mention though.
College

nding college part time for most of the years, but I have been going full time for the last year and a half. I have an associate's degree in Criminal Justice, and I am currently completing my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. After graduation I plan on becoming a Resource Specialist helping elementary school children improve their reading skills. I also plan on pursuing my Masters and PhD in education so I can further my career. Recently my mother also convinced me to pursue a second BA in Human Communications as well as a Masters so that I can pursue becoming a Speech Therapist should I decide to take that career path. During my college education I have maintained an honor's GPA, and actually graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Associate's degree. I am happy to say that I have been able to maintain a high GPA and take over a full load of classes all while taking care of my toddler.
