Melissa's Story

Life After living 10 years in Brampton, Ontario, my husband, Jason Secord (also Humberview grad), and I moved to Acton, Ontario. So now it is definately worth the drive to Acton! Jason and I have two great kids, Emily and Brian. I have recently been promoted to Assistant Executive Director of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. My most recent life changing moment was walking in the 60 km Weekend to End Breast Cancer with Dana (Pesce) Gisana and Dana (Goodwin) Venner also former grads at Humberview. We have since done the walk twice and pleased to say that with him...Expand for more
from many friends, family members and colleagues, I raised just over $6000 in 2 years. I still also keep in touch with some former Humberview classmates including Kim Cosford, Ann Coletta, Karen Shearer, Sue Barker, Lisa Malfara and Kelly Roode. I'd love to hear from any former classmates from Laurier, Humberview, Macville and Silver Creek Public School. College Wilfrid Laurier University BA Political Science and Canadian Studies Seneca College Corporate Communications Workplace Currently Assistant Executive Director of the Ontario Association of Optometrists.
