Melissa's Story
Hey All,
I never said much in high school, but I'm glad to let you know how I'm doing. I've been married the past 5 years to Anthony Davis, out of Raleigh, who is full-time military of whom I'm so very proud. I had a baby boy, Luke, in May 2007. He's absolutely beautiful and I love my time with him-they grow so fast! I have been working at UNC-CH for the last 10 years. Before that, I taught at Orange High 2 years (as the choral director).
Oh, recently at a wedding, I saw Mr. Quail, 8th/9th grade science teacher at Stanford, anybody remember him? He was nice. He looks about the same except with gray hair---still humble and smiles really big! It was a nice surprise.

Currently, we bought a house in Mebane (2008). We had another son, Jake, in September 2008. He's a cutie and looks very differnt from Luke. It's amazing, how different siblings can be. Luke enjoys trying to poke Jake in the eyes, and Jake is enjoying listening to his own voice, as he laughs at himself and blows bubbles.
I attend Wayside Baptist in Hillsborough - come visit us! I haven't really left my roots. I enjoy the area. I love spending time with my family nearby (parents, siblings and in-laws, nieces and nephews).
I enjoy my life and try to embrace it everyday. We have so little time on this earth, and I want to do what I can for the Lord. (Updated 5/13/09)
