Melissa's Story
Hello to all the Milby Buffs still shining on and living well, here in Houston, in our 50 States, and the world! I recently got on this site because of the realization that time is short, we should keep up old friendships and acquaintances, and yes, dear ones, we are getting older and wiser! Well, some of us are, anyway. I can only speak for myself; the rest of you are on your own. So much has happened in my life since the carefree days of 1970-1974, and I do remember most of it. I'm pretty sure I remember most of it. Well, maybe not all the names, but faces and places for sure. I kept journals in those days, so if I can find them, I'm sure it'll all come back to me.

to share: my wonderful parents transitioned out of this life in 2001 and 2002 after 55 years together, and my brother Joel is living in Rosharon for the duration. I am living in Pasadena in my sweet, paid for townhome with Tootie the Cat and my Godson, Andrew, who just turned 12. (Yeah, that's right: a cat and a kid, both boys.) I was married for a time (an interesting story!), but am single now. I traveled a lot and lived in other places (LA, NY, Miami, London, Athens), and I never thought I would settle in Pasadena, but hey, you've got to be flexible in life if nothing else. My life is Blessed and I am grateful for all of it; even the naughty, scary, sad, unbelievable and weird bits.
