Life I am in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. My husband, and father of our one beautiful daughter Melinda, is in the US Army. We are stationed on Schofield Barracks and live on Wheeler Army Air Field. He was in Iraq from Jan of 2004 until Jan lf 2005. I went home to SA for the year and stayed with my parents in the hood. I enjoyed my time at home but i am glad to be back on this rock with my family. This whole island is only as big as SA and the surrounding areas. That doesnt give a Texas girl much room to drive around. It is totally beautiful and a wonderful place to visit but it takes a certain type of person to live here forever. We will be here until Sept of 2006. Then on to the next new adventure. We have two cats named Sagwa and Minnie. My husband is a mechanic on the HumVees. I stay at home because I actually can. I am a secretary and like to work but I want to enjoy the early years of my daughter. She is 7 years old and in the 2nd grade. I started late but I needed to since i was a bit of a wild child after high school. We hope to have one more but if not, so be it. I met my husband at the Hide Out, and if you know the place you know its truely not the best place to meet your future husband. We have known each other for 10 years but final...Expand for more
