Melissa's Story
Life
I am happily married just over 8yrs. (June 2001) to a son-of-a-preacher-man (Jon Swanson - Bishop Noll class of 86). He's the best and puts up with my twisted sense of humor. He deserves a medal for that alone!
We are thinking about having children in the near future, but for now, we just have our two dogs, Sunny - an 11 yr. old spolied, Beagle-Retreiver mix, and Trilby - a 4 yr. old spoiled Pit Bull Terrier-Shepherd mix. Both are rescue dogs and are the best!
College

my MBA from Purdue, Calumet Campus, in 2001. I completed the Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) exam in November 2006 and am now a CIA. It is to an Auditor what a CPA is to an Accountant.
Workplace
I work for Health Care Services Corporation's (best known as Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, NM, OK & TX) Regulatory Oversight Office, keeping member's Privacy safe and enforcing HIPAA Regulations. I also assit our company in implementing other state and federal regulations, as applicable.
