Melissa's Story

Life After graduating from Irmo, I went to Clemson, where after 5 long years, I earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. I met my husband, Chris (who is also a chemical engineer) at Clemson. We were married in May of 1995 and moved to Greenville - actually Simpsonville. We adopted two dogs within the next year. Bunker is a mutt (part retriever, part Spaniel...Expand for more
?), and Newton is a German Shepherd. We moved quite a bit between Simpsonville and Lexington in those first few years. In 2000 we built a house in Simpsonville and decided to stay for while. Our first son, Blake, was born in March 2001. Our second son, Ryan, was born in February 2004. Chris is working as a consultant, and I am currently a stay at home mom.
