Melissa's Story
Well, I ended up in Northern, California, a place I thought I'd never end up. Before that, 15 years in Colorado, the state I was born in. I haven't been to AZ, if you don't count layovers, in 15 years; sometimes I miss it.
I have two children: John and Sarah. I also have a beautiful grandson named Day. John has been in the (he's 23)army for 4 years now and is a Ranger. Sarah (25),a purported hippie, lives with her son in Eugene, Oregon.

ut have had my body torn up enough to be comfortable with dogs. My soulmate, Maya, is with me almost constantly.
I am a distance runner. It takes the sting out of life and helps me maintain a shred of sanity. Instead of the pounding of hooves beneath me, it is now the plodding of my own two feet. I love it and it keeps me young.
If any of you remember the girl with the braid who always pretended she was a horse (blush), please write. Ole, I know you do:-)
