Life Returned to Vallejo in late 2004, just days before my father passed on. Have worked off and on but mostly off. Into writing and other creative activites. Retired after 30 years with Solano County Health and Social Services 2000, working in many different positions as a mid-manger. Even worked for the State Department of Social Services on loan for four years. Moved to Flagstaff, AZ, in 2000 to be with a long time partner. Loved the pace of a smaller town, even through it had an University, major Museum (of the Colorado Plateau or Four Corner area) and was just far enough away from Phoenix basin to have clean mountain air (7000 feet) with three peaks overshadowing the area (13000 feet) and snow!!! I worked for Coconino County Parks and Recreation doing the county fair and horse races, quite a departure from what I did most of my life and I loved it. The relationship ended after being in Flag for a couple of years and I bought a great little house and stayed on for another 18 months. But home and my family was calling me back to the Vallejo area. I am single but my family is close by. I have three adult sons, all in relationships.
