Melissa's Story
Life
I'm married for the second time. This time I think I'll keep him. He! He! My husband is a firefighter for the city of Winston-Salem.
I have a son who is ten yrs old. He is a advid baseball player and drives a race car on friday nights in Concord, NC.
I have a 20 month old daughter who at this time is only interested in mommy, cookies, elmo and her big brother. Dad will do when everybody else is gone. Just kidding.
We recently bought a house and moved to Davidson County.
We have also recently adopted Zoe. A Jack Russell terrier. We found her at the pound. She's a real sweetie....Expand for more
Our cat Harley is 10yrs old now and basically just a 20lb grouch.
Workplace
I am a paramedic for Forsyth County EMS. After working at Baptist Hospital for 10 yrs I was ready to get out from behind the desk and be on the front end of emergency medicine. I absolultey love my job. It is my second passion, my kids being my first of course. I cannot imagine doing anyhting else with my life as far as work goes. I meet people from all walks of life and see unbelievable things. Good and bad. I get great satisfaction from helping people in their time of need. I take alot of pride in my work.
