Melissa's Story
Life
I am currently married with 2 beautiful children. Alexander is 6 and started 1st grade this year. He is a real momma boy and I love it. My daughter Lilly is 8, which means I'm really getting old. She is such a beautiful person and I am so very proud. I am working at a local hospital now as a cardiac (heart) nurse. Medical school is now going to have to wait awhile because I ran into some medical problems along the way. I am settled and finally I am the happiest I have ever been in my whole life. I have an associates degree in registered nursing
I am working on a bachelors degree in registered nursing
Once I am finished with my bachelors degree(I am also taking pre-med classes at the same time) I am going to take my MCAT. That is my medical school admissions test. Hopefully I get in. That is my final goal. I think that I want to be a cardiologist but I like the Emergency room as well. I think I have quite some time to choose.
