Melissa's Story
After graduating from Furman University, I attended graduate school at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I've lived in Nashville, TN for 26 years and am a musician. I do studio work and perform live, as well as teach 50 students a week on guitar, banjo, mandolin, piano, and bass. ojects for BMG, Curb Records, RCA Nashville, Arista Records, Asylum Records, MCA Records, Capitol Records, Rounder Records, Mercury Nashville, Sony/ATV Music, Sparrow Records, Dreamworks , The Nashville Network, and CMT. I am also an Artist In Residence with the Tennessee Arts Commission.
I have recently begun doing photography and video production for a couple of non-profits and was in Malawi, Africa and Peru in 2007 and will be going to Guatemala in June 2008.
