Melissa's Story
Can't believe it's been almost ten years since we've graduated. Life is going well for me. After graduated I attended Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and worked in the radio industry for about 2 years. I went back to school and graduated with a PR degree from Eastern Michigan in 2005. Since then I have been extremely involved with professional organizations such as the Public Relations Society of America (locally and nationally), Women in Communications, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Michigan and a few others.

ctors for Eastern Michigan University's Alumni Association and volunteer my time speaking to PR students about life after graduation.
I work full time at the best company in Michigan, Henry Ford Health System as a Marketing/Communications Consultant. I develop communciations plans and events that support the marketing objectives of the system.
I have been married for 3 years to my husband Brian and we have a son that is 2 years old. I also have a step-daughter who is 8 years old.
I love my busy life and wouldn't change it for the world.
