Melissa's Story
Life
My life is so busy sometimes...but life has been good to me. I have been married to Joe for 19 years. We have 3 children, two boys and a girl. I have worked for Mercy Medical Center for 21 years as an occupational therapist. I strictly work with children now from infants to young adults! I used to work with the adults from time to time, but my true love is the kids and their families! Joe did own a collision repair shop for many years, but he became quite burned out! He took some classes at Stark State to work toward an engineering degree and joined the National Guard to help pay for that. He is currently a recruiter. We attend Little Flower Catholic Church. (without the kids!) and we had a great time on a cruise several years ago. As a family, we enjoy road trips, stopping at many places here and there. Our best trip was to South Dakota and then Yellowstone. We had a blast! Joe and the boys took a "guys only" trip one year to Washington D.C. We've seen some of the New England states, and would love to go back and see more of them! I really like historical places and have such a greater interest in them now than I ever did in school! Although Mr. Lab did pretty well with making history interesting! My advice to all is to smile and laugh at least once each day, make physical contact with someone you love each day, and enjoy life as much as you can! It is too precious a gift to waste.
