Melissa's Story
Life
I've been living in San Francisco for the past 14 (give or take-time flies) years. I've got a Masters Degree in Social Work and I work for Child Protective Services doing emergency response in the sex trauma unit. I love living here in San Francisco, which is an absolutely beautiful city. I bought my own "fixer-upper" house a few years ago and have been having a great time working on it-hanging sheet rock, painting, gardening,etc... r fun, I like to ski, hike, camp, work-out, listen to live music, hang out with my friends and generally enjoy this glorious city. I also enjoy traveling and I try to take a at least a short trip every couple of months. I have traveled in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Central and South America and I feel my travels have really opened up my world. My husband and I separated a year and a half ago after being married for seven years. The separation was really tough, but I now have a new lease on life and bunch totally amazing friends.
