Mellicent Wiley:  

Married Bobby Wiley August 8, 1969. Attended TJC and SHSU. Had 4 children: son, Bobby Wiley II, daughter & son twins: Heather Wiley Christian and Heath Wiley and youngest son, Justin Wiley. Have four grandchildren: Heather's boy & girl twins: Taylor & Tyler Christian, two grandaughters by son, Justin: Tess & Tori Wiley. My husband was drafted 10 months after we were married. He spent 14 months in Vietnam. Received metal for going beyond the call of duty. We met in Hawaii for a week of R & R after he had been in Vietnam 10 months. Bob graduated with honors from SHSU with B.S., then Master's degree in Education. He taught for Windham School for 9 years, then went back to painting. Owned Wiley's Painting. Got cancer of the jaw and lived for 15 years, then had heart attack. We were married 31 1/2 years at the time of his death. He was buried in Huntsville, TX at Brookes' Cemeterey.
