Melodee's Story
Okay kids...here's the Reader's Digest version until I have more time... Picture is of me with my spectacular daughter (I'm the one on the right...hahaha). Current status, will do back story down the line, is that I'm in a committed relationship for last 8 years (not sure I want to marry again), husband of 20 years deceased, daughter is 23 and senior in college, mom in nursing home, brother Dave finally remarried a year ago 20+ years after divorce to a gal he met in the Philippines, and no pets!! Lived out of state for a while (before marriage) but couldn't get SoCal out of my blood. Worked for 20+ years at The Aerospace Corporation and then changed careers 10 years ago because I was bored. own - we are on the move traveling. I've done more traveling in the last 7 years than the 30 before. I am blessed to have a second chance at love and have the love of a good man. AND, I am amazed that I have finally gotten sucked into classmates.... But having reached that ripe old age of 55 (hello AARP), figured it might be cool to find out who is still kicking. Glad to hear from my bud Melody - seems like yesterday we were trying to figure out fractions in Mrs. Levens class and make sure Pfeifle who was "with a Y" and who was "with EE". Curt - it's a long way from Los Robles, but the 'Cuda was the coolest. My main man has been a ski instructor at Snow Summitt for 10 years when we are off from school. We'll have to figure out how to connect next time we are up at BB (are you lovin' the snow?). Gotta run - be safe and love each day - it's a gift@
