Jones many many many years ago...(but those who know me know I will never admit to be my age, act it or look it if i have a choice in the matter!) in Brunswick Co, VA! I grew up my entire life there. After a year or two in (what i thought at the time- to be boring) community college I decided to join the military.. i was always different and didnt quite fit in here (the country). Thanks to my DNA and love for fitness I always loved working out or playing sports... I wanted to get fit and i thought what better way to push me to my limits- boot camp! So from 1992 to 1996 I proudly served as a DC (firefighter) in the US Navy in Norfolk, Va. I LOVED being that close to Va Beach and stayed their every chance I got! After serving 4 years I got out hoping to move home for the birth of my first niece and be around family some before becoming a fire fighter. I went back to Food Lion my first employer and there i stayed for 9 years. Most of that time I lived on my own, worked out (hardcore for about 4-5 years) and enjoyed life, thinking i'll follow my dreams tomorrow. Tomorrow never came. I met someone and got married in 2004. I got pregnant on my honeymoon and had my first beautiful son Peyton 5 weeks early in Jan 05! I fell in love with him!! I loved being a mommy and decided to go back to school and stay at home for a few years. 18 months later I had my 2nd son Chase, 7 weeks early. Anyone who has ever had to go through leaving a newborn in a hospital knows it tears you apart inside. That was one of my happiest for having him but also emotionally lowest times in my life! 7 or 8 months later my marriage started going down hill. I was so busy doing for everyone else I had lost me! It completly ended in Oct of 08 leaving me a single mom of 2 babies and no job~ right away i went out and found the best job i could at the time, working for Estee Lauder at Peebles. I loved the job but struggled to get by. (no i didnt sit on my ass- i babysat 2-5 kids each day and went to school full time earning my degree in Criminal Justice). In Feb of 2011 with 40 approaching i took a look at my life and so many dreams i was SO CLOSE and never followed thru.I decided i could give up and get old or start reaching some of those goals. If others can do it, by God so can I! I signed up for a Personal Trainer class through ACE. I will be one this year! I joined the Ymca. I let go of all the anger, hurt, pain in my life. I learned i need more self love. I have my 2 boys who love me and who need me. I want to be nothing but a positive role model for them. For that reason I have stayed away from dating for the most part, maybe had a handful of single dates in 2 years. I dont need or want anyone until I find THE ONE. The one who will complete my life.
