Life After graduation I started working for Dept. of Transportation downtown and was there for quite a few years. I started working for the C&S Bank downtown Atlanta. I worked there until 1979 married (3rd) and moved to Asheville, NC. This marriage only lasted 4 years. In 1983 I came back to Atlanta and moved in with my parents and got a job at Avon. I met the love of my life, David and we were married 1984. This year 2008 will be 25 years!!!! We are still in love and I thank God every day for him. 2009 now - still in love! I guess from 1970 until 1990 my drinking was out of control. It is only by the grace of God that I am alive to write this bio for I have put myself in so many dangerous situations that I really should not be here. In 1990 my drinking got so bad that I decided to get help and went to an outpatient treatment center. When I told my manager at Avon she was shocked because she had no idea I had a problem. God reached down into the pit of hell and pulled me out and I am forever grateful. AA helped me find my way back to Him and to Sobriety. I have not had a drink since 1992. David and I both drank and both got sober together. My Mother, Martha McDaniel, passed away in 2002 and my Dad, Lamar, at 83 has since remarried and is doing very well. He and his bride just got back from honeymoon in Costa Rico (2007). 2009 My Dad, Lamar McDaniel, is having a birthday (85) June 19th and is in good shape for the shap...Expand for more
