More about Melody:"This is Duncan. He was a foster boy brought to me through Nor Cal Weim Rescue. Nobody wanted him due to his age of 12. He was discarded by his original family-- after 10 years and discarded again when his owner invited a younger version to take his place. He has been with me, now adopted (as I failed miserably with this foster rescue), for over a year. He is still needy, stubborn, counter cruises for food, and at 75+ pounds would prefer being on a human lap-- or anywhere within reach of human contact. "They" wanted to send him to a Weim retirement community, where such contact would be limited... so he's here, helping me sell antiques and with writing articles for publication (or not).
Nor-Cal Weim Rescue has more young and old Weimaraners to consider for fostering and/or adopting.".
