Melody's Story

Life Hi, Well, this would be a really long story if I were to start from the get go. So, I won't. My husband and I have been married for 26yrs we have been together 27yrs. I was married 1 time prior at the young age of 18 and had my son Kennedy at 19. My ex was "very" messed up from the Vietnam War and "very" long story short. One night woke up thought he was back in Vietnam, tried to kill me, Let's say a NIGHT of HELL!! and when it ended I was alive, my baby was alive and I got the hell out of there. After deciding to be on my own just me and my son. One faithful day while working this very good looking friendly guy walked right into my life. After a few months of him coming to my work we finally got together and started dating. He also had been in a bad marriage and had his son. So, one day while playing in the park he ask me to marry him. And so we did. Soon after he adopted my son and I adopted his son and we all became the Houpt family. Our oldest son lives in West Palm Beach,FL. he is 36y...Expand for more
rs old, not married but lives with his girlfriend. He is a cabinet-maker. His name is Jeff. Our youngest son lives here in Greenwood he is 30yrs old, married, two boys. He is a co-owner of a business who buys and sells homes they buy gut/flip then sale. His name is Kennedy. My husband is retired from Allison Transmission he worked there for 30yrs. His name is Dave. I have done different things though my life but ended up in Health Care. I in Phlebotomy. My husband and I have a great love for pets and have five dogs and two cats all adopted or rescued. We live in Speedway. I know we are crazy! Got to love it. I'm still a silly girl at heart that has not change. I am still very close to my pal's Tricia Haynes, Teresa Davis and Joyce Denny we have remained close friends. We are all turning 50 this summer YUCK!!! so we are having a two day outing together coming in August. That should be great fun. Hope all is well your ways and you are happy.
