Melody's Story
Hello everyone, hope you are all well.
Iam married to a wonderful man named Mike. I have 3 kids: Chasity is 25 she has 3 beautiful little ones Hayden is going to be 4, Emily is 2 and little Brittanni is 2 months. My youngest are twins Adam & Nicole they are 17 yrs old and seniors in High School. I have 2 step-kids Scott 27 and Crystal 25 with 2 kids Alex 5 and Gracie 3. So yep Iam a grandma and I love being one.
My husband and I have been married 5 yrs this month. I moved from Newark 5 1/2 yrs ago and live in Ashley, OH an hr from Newark. Since I have moved I don't seen anyone from the good ole days and would love to reconnect with old friends. I have been an Avon Rep for 22 yrs, I still write and sew alot and do photography. I spend most of my time taking care of my mom. She is terminally ill with alzheimer/dementia. My kids and I have over come alot in the past few yrs and now we are trying to make mom's last few months of life memorable. I would love to hear from old friends. Feel free to drop me a line. m. My mother is terminally ill with alzheimers and dementia, she lives with us now and I take care of her 24/7. Alot of people take it forgranted that their parents and loved ones will always be there and always remember us. During this heartbreaking battle watching my mother suffer and struggle everyday I have realized so many things. Always tell people how important they are to you and how much you love them. You could wake up tomorrow and that person may be gone or may become some one you don't recognize anymore. Remember that when we were little our parents loved us and took care of us and I believe when they get older we should do the same for them and show them all the love they showed us. Please take the time out of your busy day to hug someone you love and tell them how special they are to you.
If they suffer from some cruel disease remember when hurtful things are said or done that it isn't them doing it, it is the disease. You just smile, shake it off reassure them that you love them and go on with the day. Always treat others the way your would want to be treated and the way you would want someone else to treat you or your family.
