Melvin's Story
Life
Nowadays, life has me living in Austin, Texas. After high school I hopped on a plane that took me far from the community to Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois. The Navy sent me to school in beautiful Pensacola, Florida and then on to dreaded Meridian, Mississippi for more training. ÂThis canÂt be life!!!Â, until my feet touched down in sunny San Diego, Calfornia things changed. Then comes the Âroach coach USS Valley Forge but again my horizons were Âbroadened in places such as:
Willemstad, Curacao (Netherlands Antilles)
Balboa, Panama
Categena, Colombia
Rio de Janerio, Brazil
Mazatlan, Mexico
Acapulco, Mexico
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Tijuana, Mexico (Always lovely LOL)

Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Apra Harbor, Guam

e most part I have been enlightened so to say after racking up all those miles to all these places and then some that arenÂt even included. But now those days are over and I am back into my trade....computers. I am currently working on quite a few certifications so that they look nice on a certificate to put on my wall.
I work all the time as I have a multimedia and maarketing company here in Austin that serves the church and nonprofit communities to help them get the word out about their programs and developing a marketing presence for them. I am also working on a special non-profit project to be launched next year.
When I am not working all the time, my days are occupied by my queen, prince and princesses (Fiance, son and daughters) who are extremely important to me. Other than that my free time is spent shooting 17 foot jumpers over unsuspecting teen LeBron James knock-offs at the rec center. Im fast approaching 30 but i still shoot these youngsters lights out on a daily basis :) And when I'm not shooting their lights out, I teach the trade to 12-14 year old kids in the youth league as a coach.
