Emme's Story
Starting as an exchange student and staying on for years proved to be a life-shaping experience. I remember the Claymore...(still have the beautiful foodie yearbook!) Norma Haggerty's Expository Writing class...I still cherish the copy of Strunk and White she gave me as a present.

thing mind-related, but this had more to do with music and electronic systems.
In the process, I found myself doing gigs as a sound engineer, eventually working for national radio and television. Did some system engineering as well, but I burned out on the nightshifts and long hours.

Today I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands where I work as a social worker in psychiatry and loving it. It is sometimes hard but rewarding.
This year my partner Charlotte and I celebrate our 20th year together. 2 cats, no kids, but loads of relatives have them for us...
