Meredith's Story
My story starts in Burbank, CA, where I was born. We moved to Crestline when I was 4. A year later, we moved down the hill to San Bernardino where I attended Elliot Grammar school in first grade. Before graduating from Pacific HS, we moved 9 times. I think God was preparing me for being married to my husband, Richard, and the California Dept. of Forestry. We have moved 15 times in our life together. Currently, we plan to stay where we are but who knows!!! We have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Our daughter, Kellie, lives in So. Cal and our son, Jeff, lives close to us. Our grandson, Chase, is in med school in Philadelphia and our grandda...Expand for more
ughter, Quinn, is doing her student teaching in English at our local high school. Some of you may remember my parents. We cared for them in our home for 6 years. They both passed away in 2007. My sister lives in their home by Arrowhead CC. We live on 5 acres which keeps Richard pretty busy mowing, pruning, burning, etc. I manage to stay busy with family, friends, and hobbies. One of my favorite hobbies is going out to breakfast almost every morning to a local Victorian restaurant, Sweetie Pies. They have the best cinnamon nut rolls I've ever tasted. If you're ever up this way, they are right on Main Street in Placerville. You'll enjoy it.
