Life Hello Red Band Regional graduates! I am living and working in NYC and love it as much as I hate it sometimes. When I originally wrote this bio thing for classmates.com I was in a more negative frame of mind, but I am feeling quite zesty these days intermixed with exhaustion from my job, but it is all good. So did any of you RBRers turn into wine lovers? I love the stuff, too bad I don't have my own private wine cellar . . .I am definitely still very silly, a real goofball at times. It balances the deep and intense areas mind dwells sometimes . . . I have been realizing for the past 10 years what it means to find my way through this life I have here right now. My long-term boyfriend, Dave, did not know me as you did in high school. He did not know me before a life-altering event took place three months after I moved to New York City in 1995. Destiny and Fate aside (way aside), it's all we'll ever have. I also have a distractibility quotient that is too high for my own good. It is easy to talk about ourselves as human doings. A little more elusive to describe ourselves as human beings. ( I rock. Usually. No actually I suck, but hey...since we're on the internet, I could tell you I'm a supermodel, which of course, I am. I like to meet all kinds of people (and have), I find other people's lives fascinating. I LOVE to dance... I'm not prone to bouts of maudlin affection, but I do get sentimental about the following: friends and loved ones, children, people's personal journeys and tough times, and important ideas and theories. I'm an uncanny (and occasionally uneasy) marriage of empiricism and intuition ... melancholic observation and idealistically hopeful exploits. Have fun out there! Cheers, Meredith P.S.
