Merri Beth's Story

It's so hard to think back to then. I didn't feel like I was unhappy then, but when I try to remember, it seems a lot of bad things come to mind first and I have to think harder to remember the good times. I would hope that my friends have different memories and if they think of bad times, I don't come to mind. I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. I watch TV to relax, mostly. Wildest thing I ever did in school? Truly, nothing comes to mind. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have great pay, benefits, and be respected to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My late father is my hero. He had some flaws, but overall was a very intelligent, strong man. I miss him everyday...still. In 1989 I moved to Oregon, then to Washington for a year before returning to Ohio in 1996. Then, in 2006, I moved to Arizona, which is where I live currently. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Tim Jenkins, because I'm curious to know if he's still HOT! LOL. I am obsessed with American Idol and considerably addicted to a lot of other reality TV shows. I have 3 dogs currently...a Border Collie, a Chow-mix and a Chihuahua. My biggest surprise in life was that I got a divorce. I never tho...Expand for more
ught, after watching my parents and all of my sisters (except 1) do it, that I would fall into the same routine. But, I did and it turns out it was the best for everyone concerned. I am happily re-married and wouldn't have it any other way. My daughter teaches me responsibility. That's not to say that she's responsible...quite the opposite. I have to always make sure she's taken care of because she has a tendency to make some poor choices. I would like to see Mr. Weaver again. Mrs. Granger was always my favorite, but I believe she has passed on. Is Weaver still around? Anyone know? If I won $100 million, I'd give $10 million of it to my daughter for college and to get a jump start on her life, then spend the rest on my mom, a house and put the rest in savings. I totally get teased at work for still wearing acid wash jeans! The weirdest job I ever had was as a receptionist at a mortuary...because it was actually fun! Funeral directors, because of what they deal with every day, have the best sense of humor in the world! My oldest friend is Lora Lytle. When I was 5 and she was 3, her family moved in down the street from mine. She had no siblings, and my sisters were all so much older, that she became like a little sister to me. I miss her terribly. We had SO many fun times together!
