The Towers
The towers that stood very high in the sky,
Came down September 11th in the bl...Expand for more
ink of an eye.
It brought pain & suffering to everyone around,
When both of the towers came crumbling down.
Lives were lost & we can't understand,
Why so many were taken from God's lovin hand.
When the smoke cleared & we finally could see,
The towers were gone,''How could this be?''
Thousands of people lost their lives that day,
Not knowing their lives would end that way.
With fear in our hearts & tears in our eyes,
We are the nation that fights to survive.
We are the land of the free & the home of the brave,
The towers became men's diasterous grave.
Let us forgive but remember our loss,
For Jesus did when he hung from the cross.
Time will pass & relieve the pain,
But the terrible disaster is etched in our brain.
Red,white,& blue are the colors we wave,
For the land of the free & home of the brave.
