Life
Hello everyone,
I can't believe I'm turning 45 this month! Wow! I think Mr. Moore was this age when I had him as a teacher and now, as I work with my students, I wonder if they think I'm old? I sure don't feel it and everyone who knows me know that I sure don't act it! There have been some changes in my life in the past year or two. I've decided that after two Master's Degrees and 1 1/2 years of Ph.D. work, I'm finally tired of school!!! So, I quit. I've always wanted more children so my husband and I are adopting a little 7-year-old girl from China who happens to be blind. We should be able to get her soon - it is such a long process to adopt from China. Needless to say, we are so excited! Life is only what you make of it. Enjoy it while you can. Email me if you can at lemonjuze at y a h o o dot c o m. ...Expand for more
I would love to hear from you.

School
My biggest crush in middle school was Walter Schneider and in high school it was Steve Roosendaal. My best male friend was Paul Florenzano.
Of all the teachers I had in H-berg, I remember Mr. Moore the best. I still use one of his lessons today with my own students. It goes something like this:
Question: How many friends do you have?
Usually I hear: Over 50.
Question: How many of those friends would lend you $20?
Usually I hear: about half.
Question: How many of "those" friends would lend you the shirt off their back?
Usually I hear: about 5.
Question: How many of "those" will "give" you their last $5.00?
Usually I hear: 1
Question: So, how many true friends do you have?
Usually I hear: 1
Conclusion: All the rest are really acquaintances.
