Meta's Story
Life
Wow what a road it's been! After high school I went to Yuba College then Sac State and got my bachelor's degree in business administration. I came back to Olivehurst to work for my Dad for one year and ended up being there twelve years. At 34 I had my first child, a girl who is now eight years old and knows everything. At 37 I had my second, a boy who is shy as can be.
I'm currently working in the Welfare Department in Yuba County. Technically my title is "Social Worker Supervisor in the Employment Services Division", but actually...Expand for more
my job entails counseling the eight women in my unit through life's trials and tribulations. Scarey as it seems, I'm surprised at some of the good advice I give out. Of course, it's always easier to give advice than to take it. I currently live in Yuba City in a house I purchased in August 2002 and am enjoying the good life when I'm not at work, or feeding the kids, or doing dishes, or cleaning the house, or doing paperwork. . .you get the gist.
