Michael's Story
I know I've been off the radar for a number of years. After I graduated from SPHS in 1969 I moved to Munich, Germany with my parents and attended the U of Md. Munich Campus for a couple of years, then transferred back to College Park for a while. For various reasons I quit attending and started working a series of jobs that eventually led me to live in Tennessee, then Chicago, and finally Portland, Oregon. I got married to a lovely woman from San Francisco named Anne and had two children that are now 25 and 20 years old, my daughter Madeline and son Paul (no, not THAT...Expand for more
Paul Allen). Maddie is now engaged to get married next August and Paul is still living at home and attending Portland State University. We live in a nice old house with our 3 - 5 cats. Anne works for Portland Public Schools as a speech therapist and I am currently unemployed after 16 years with the cable company and living "semi-retired" for now until I decide what I want to do when I grow up. There is plenty of time for me to do stuff around the house and garage, play my current favorite game of disc golf, and be with my family and friends and pets for quality time.
