Michael's Story
Life
I have retired from education after 34 years, eighteen in administration. I got tired of all the politics in administration. I have retired, with pay, from the Navy effective 13 Nov 2006 as a Commander (O-5). I currently work at NSWC Crane , IN for a Defense Contractor five days a week. On Saturday, I teach Biology for Ivy Tech Comm. College in Evansville, IN. Last semester, I taught chemistry.
Trudy and I have been married thirty years and have seven children - 5 boys, 2 girls. All our children are in college except the oldest who graduated from ISU. I have two grandsons and a granddaughter.

Military
Retired, with pay, from Navy as a Commander (O-5). Served aboard USS VIRGO (AE-30) during Vietnam. Passed out a lot of "bullets" and bombs to the destroyers, in the Corps, and carriers. in the Tonkin Gulf. After active duty, spent the rest of my years in various reserve units as TO, XO, OINC, or CO.
