Michael's Story
Life
Life is a gas! I was born in Arlington Virginia where I learned that Virginia was the birthplace of most of our important people - presidents and so forth. We studied Virginia and US history for 12 years and thought that Virginia was the center of the Universe. I live in California now where most of our elected officials are actors (everyone is acting out all of the time), some more convincing than others. I am blessed with 10 children and a beautiful and loving wife, several bionic additions to my body (knee, hip, shoulder) and hopefully a few years left to enjoy my 55 Chevy convertible and the 50 Ford Pickup that Keith Betts assembled for me. At the moment I am still employed (as a Hearing Officer for the California Special Education Hearing Office). added 01/2008: Did move to New Mexico. Corrales is a very rural village in between two good sized cities. So while I am living in the country, I am close to shopping malls, good medical help, and art and culture. I am still enjoying life, although my body seems to be slowing down. I wonder how the last 50 years went by so quickly - it is amazing. And here I am, a thrity-something year old man stuck in a 67 year old body.
added 03/22/2010: Well, I finished my novel, OUT OF BALANCE, a fast-paced, socially relevant Matt Lucas mystery set in the California Motherlode country which takes readers into the fight for justice in the worlds of domestic violence, child abuse, murder and judicial incompetence.
