Michael's Story
Life
I can not believe it has been 30+ years since we have left the halls of Annandale High School. I graduated from East Carolina University in 1977 with a Bachelor's of Education in Music, and then in 1992 with a Masters of Education in Music. I spent 2 years out of school after graduating in 1977 before starting to teach, so I am now in year 29 teaching band and strings (orchestra) in Bethel, North Carolina. orth Carolina at Wilmington, N.C. My daughter, Emma, is now a freshman in high school. I have not been able to make any of the other reunions. It would be great to see everyone. Hopefully I would recognize some of you!
I retired in 2014 with 34 years of teaching music(band, orchestra, general). Karen and I just celebrated 31 years of marriage in December. We are now grandparents of a 2 year old grandson. Love to have him with us, love to send him home! Still playing my flute, looking forward to joining a flute choir in the new year.
Still haven't made a reunion - in my plans for the next one!
