Michael's Story
After graduation in 1974, I enrolled in Golden West Junior College for pre-law studies. While in my first semester at Golden West, I learned how AI could go to law school without having to first go to college if I took and passed the Two Year College Equivalency Test given by the State Bar of California. 9 California Bar Exam and was admitted to the State Bar in November, 1979. I practiced for the first 2 years in downtown Santa Ana across the street from the Orange County Courthouse. In 1981, I relocated my practice to Yuba City, CA in Yuba And Sutter Counties to be nearer to family here. I have been in private practice of law for the past 34 years. I am a professor at Cal Northern School of Law in Chico, CA, having taught primarily Property law for the last 30 years.
