After about a year of the same boring story, I figure it's time to change it a little. Every so often people swing by my profile page... is it curiosity or general interest? Not sure. But eitherway... I figured it's time for an update. I've been in Jacksonville for several years now. We just had a tropical storm blow through. You would have thought the world was coming to an end... or that the anti-christ had just revealed himself the way the local news stations were buzzing about. After living in West Palm Beach for 19 years and having gone thru at least 10 different storms... 6 of them major hurricanes..... a little tropical storm doesnt seem like a big deal. Its pretty simple... stay away from the trees, power lines, fill your car, buy ice water and a few cans of Ravioli and your all set. Its not rocket science. BUT.. T'V" stations need ratings. The better the ratings the more they can charge for airtime to sponsers. I guess we all have bills to pay. I never find it odd though how there is always at least two people to die from their own stupidity. Yes.... two people decided to go swimming.
