Michael's Story
Worked 39 years for Diamond
Shamrock and Occidental. Lived in the Highlands and Baytown area while raising my family and working. In 2015 after my wife's passing l took my granddaughter and moved to east Texas to be close to my parents in Timpson. In 2017 I remarried. We stay busy in church and spending time with my mom and going to football games where my granddaughter was a high school twirler. years of being out of high school we see how short life is and we begin to cherish each day the Lord gives to us and to not pass up all the moments we can share with each other and to be ready for Christ and a new beginning. It feels good to look back and remember the high school years when we were so young and wrinkle free and had a spirit that was yet to be tamed. Our heads were so hollow and so much of life to learn that has lead us to where we are today. It's good to reminisce about our high school years.
