Michael Blades, a 29-year veteran of the process industry in the roles of customer, vendor, and consultant started his career working with Union Carbide Corporation as a summer hire in Taft, LA in 1980. He worked his way through college with Carbide and at E. I. DuPont Company for 4 years in the early 1980¿s. He began his education in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane Universityin New Orleans, LA and continued studies in Biomedical & Chemical Engineering at Louisiana Tech University until 1981. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering in 1985. Mr. Blades began his engineering profession in the Engineer-In-Training Program as a Process Control Sales Engineer with Moore Products Company, Spring House, PA in 1985 where he worked until 1995.
