Michael's Story
After graduating from SHS I went to Pima College on a track scholarship and ran for 2 years. While there I did two internships at Pantano Christian Church as a youth intern and Pima College Police as an apprentice officer. I got married to my wife Mindy in 1994 and worked for 3 1/2 years as a Associate Minister for the Christian Church of Casa Grande. In 1997 our first daughter was born and we moved back to Tucson. I worked at Pima College Police Department for 9 1/2 years and three more children were born (yes 3 girls and 1 boy). for the last two years I have been working at the Sahuarita Police Department. In 2007 I was selected as police officer of the year. In 2008 I completed another AA from Taylor University (online) in Biblical Studies. Still live in Tucson with wife and four kids.
