Melissa's Story
Life
Melissa:
Life has been great! I'm (still) married to a wonderful Christian man named Michael. We were married on Sep.15, 2003. Michael and I may be buying a condo soon. I've picked up "knitting" and have had fun making stuff. (I know ... 'wild child')
Michael:
Life is good! I've been playing Final Fantasy XI on line and have done well so far.
School
Melissa:
I have been going to school full time again this spring quarter. (I got deployed and had to get back into the swing of things a year later.) I am currently working on my AA and will be moving on to my BA soon.
Michael:
I took a couple of college classes yet, right now I'm working on classes for work. (Real-estate license for Apartment managing)

Melissa:

e Air Force (Reserves) as a Flight Medic. I am an E.M.T. that flies on the back of various planes (C-17) and transport patients.
I am also a home tutor for a 7yr old boy with Autism. It's my favorite job ever. Lots of fun!
Michael:
I work in down town Tacoma as an Apartment Manager. I really enjoy what I do.
Military
Melissa:
I joined the Air Force in December of 1999. I really like the job that I have the privalege of doing. (see "Work") I am not so excited about all of the politics involved. Over all I have enjoyed the experience. I haven't decided if I'm going to do the "20 yrs." that if needed for retirement ... we'll see.
Michael:
I never joined the military. Melissa being in is sometimes hard. Her job is one of the ones that get "deployed" a lot. I'm proud of her though.
