Michael's Story
I retired early because my 85 year old Mom needs constant care. My work was pretty boring and routine, but I made up for it by mountain hiking in Canada, deep sea fishing in Central America, para-sailing in Hawaii, and drifting about the Caribean snorkeling. I've awakened surrounded by wild herds of bison in Montana and I've dived for conch shells and eaten the raw meat for dinner in the Bahamas. I've power-sprayed gas station drive ways, sold wine and cheese, sold antiques, cleaned toilets and swept floors, done some roof decking,done some sales, account...Expand for more
ing, and auditing work. I'm a lonely drifter who has quit school twice with a 4.0 record because I'm undisciplined . I've raised chinchillas, ferrets, and rabbits. I've worked booktores, porno stores, and convenience stores. I don't drink, but I have been drunk in my 20's. I made some money by buying H.U.D, houses in the late '80's and early '90's. and selling them in the early 2000's at 400% profit. I'll live on that retirement until my Mom leaves this earth, and then I'm off to be the oldest geezer to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Alaska.
