Michael's Story
Life
I am married,with two children, a girl who will be entering high school next year, and a boy who is now in sixth grade. I am a lawyer who principally does health care litigation, representing the practitioner's interests in all matters affecting their professional and personal lives, except for malpractice matters. Even for malpractice cases, I will supervise the defense to make sure that if a client can settle a dispute at or below the client's insurance policy coverage limits, the insurance company will settle the dispute at no risk to the client's personal assets.
My wife is a paralegal for a large Downtown law firm. We have lived in Glencoe for about 9 years.

nd am on the boards and serve as league commissioner for my local park district's basketball and baseball leagues. While I spend time with my kids' various athletic endeavors, my wife is very active with their boy scout and girl scout activities.
For fun, I try to play as much golf as I can and still try to play basketball on weekends. I am also a fanatic follower of the White Sox and the University of Illinois basketball and football teams. I also participate in two rotisserie baseball leagues.
For my civic duties, I serve on a community committee that slates candidates for our school board. I also serve on the legal committee for my temple. I am a faculty member for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and spend about one to two weeks per year teaching lawyers and law school students how to try cases.
