Michael's Story

Life My partner of almost twenty years and I moved to New Orleans, Louisiana from Port Washington NY a few years ago. I am a fourth grade teacher and he is an MD. We are now back in New Orleans after a 4 month evacuation to Long Island. We live in the 20% of the city that did not flood, but many of our friends lost ever...Expand for more
ything. Our son is adjusting well. We adopted him about nine years ago. He has a mental disability and goes to a great private Special Education School. Randel is now 18 years old. He has turned out to be a great kid. We still own our weekend home on the end of Long Island and we go there a few times during the year.
