Michael's Story
Life
I'm married & we had 2 kids. Our son died in 2004. That was very tough. Our daughter has a daughter. Being a grandpa is pretty cool. In 2003, I decided to get back into motorcycles. I have a big cruiser now & my wife rides a smaller cruiser. I'm pretty much bald. The worst part is my head gets cold. Health is OK. I've lived in Michigan since 1972 -- almost like home now. We have a small dog & 2 cats. Sometimes, I think my function is to entertain them and the granddaughter. As I get older, my perspectives on what's important have changed.

utomotive engineering job. They made me an offer that I couldn't refuse. I'm getting used to being a gentleman of leisure. I recommend it to everyone. People tell me that I'm much more relaxed now. Working was not as much fun as it was a few years ago.
Aug '13 - I'm still enjoying retirement and recommend it. I volunteered to be the editor of the quarterly journal of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan (FCHSM). That keeps me busy. We went on a LONG drive vacation to CA and AZ last spring. Nice country but its a very long drive from here. Everything else is OK.
